Once you're booked, I'll help you choose a location that fits what you're envisioning and plan your session around the light that will photograph it beautifully.
We'll talk through what to wear, who you're bringing, and anything you'd especially love to create.
During your session, I'll guide you through flattering poses and natural movement, while leaving plenty of room for the moments that happen on their own.
Most maternity sessions are photographed between 28 and 34 weeks, but there's no single perfect week for everyone.
Your due date, how you're feeling, travel plans, and whether you're expecting one baby or multiples can all influence the timing.

When your family joins, we'll create a mix of photographs: everyone together, you with your partner, you with your children, and portraits focused on you and your pregnancy.

Most maternity sessions take place outdoors throughout Southwest Florida, including Sanibel, Captiva, Fort Myers Beach, Bonita Springs, and surrounding areas.
Beach sessions are especially beautiful in the soft evening light, but your session doesn't have to take place on the beach. If you have another location in mind, I'm happy to talk through whether it will work well for the photographs you're envisioning.
Once you're booked, I'll help you choose the location that best fits the look and feel you want.

Florida weather can change quickly, so I keep a close eye on the forecast leading up to every session.
We don't automatically cancel for a questionable forecast, especially when a passing shower may clear in time for beautiful evening light. If the weather truly won't allow us to photograph safely or create the kind of images you've booked me for, we'll make a plan to reschedule.
I'll communicate with you throughout the process so you aren't left trying to make the weather call yourself.
